Job Role:
The Customer Service Representative is a crucial member of our customer service team, responsible for responding to patient inquiries, resolving issues, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Handle inbound calls from patients and their families, create service cases, and assist with emails, live chat, written inquiries, and faxes
- Ensure all patient information is updated in systems and thoroughly document discussions, including issue and resolution
- Research and resolve complaints or issues according to company policies and procedures in a timely manner
- Work with internal departments to meet patient needs
- Handle patient inquiries, provide appropriate solutions, and alternatives within time limits, follow up to ensure resolution
- Achieve specific metrics and standards used to measure productivity and quality of service
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Associate Degree in customer service, business, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years experience in a customer service or contact center environment required
