Ambulatory Nurse

The Ambulatory Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will utilize the care process consistent with your license and scope of practice, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and supportive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide health teaching, health counseling, and supportive care to patients and families
- Document objective and subjective physical findings and interventions
- Administer patient care activities according to standards, organizational policy, and procedural guidelines
- Participate in educational activities to support performance improvement initiatives
- Assume responsibility for continued professional and personal growth
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as LPN in the State of New Jersey
- Current BLSHCP certification
- 3-5 years clinical experience in medical/surgical required; strong organizational skills preferred
Potential for exposure to hazards and risks of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous substances, and potential injury.
Considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; extensive standing and walking; lifting approximately 25 to 50 pounds frequently; lifting approximately 50 to 100 pounds with assistance occasionally; pushing and pulling of heavy equipment.
Some departments require the ability to distinguish colors. Essential functions of this position are listed on the department specific Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
