Avera Medical Group Brookings is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing laboratory tests and analyzing results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, coordinate, and perform timely, accurate, and quality clinical laboratory results utilizing all available human and material resources within the laboratory.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient test results.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain laboratory standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Medical Lab Technology or related field.
- 6-12 months of related experience and/or training.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT within 12 months of hire.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, days with rotating evenings and weekend involvement.
