Job Description

At CycleBar--Long Beach, we're seeking a talented Spin Instructor to join our team. As a CycleBar instructor, you'll be responsible for creating an exhilarating cycling class experience that leaves riders wanting more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach CycleBar formatted rides, following the OG 12 song sequence, Alt A or B, 60-minute ride, Classic, Connect, Performance, Empower, or Xpress formats.
  • Arrive 20-30 minutes before class to set up and connect with riders.
  • Remain after class 15-20 minutes to engage with riders and help clean up personal items.
  • Create a new playlist for every class, using only CB branded gear or plain athletic attire with no logos.
  • Make announcements pre and post class, promoting specials and encouraging riders to ask questions.

Studio Expectations:

  • Keep the DJ booth neat and tidy, using the provided baskets to store items.
  • Handle studio equipment with care, including mics, mic packs, mic belts, iPads, and other equipment.
  • Do not leave personal items at the studio.
  • Offer to help the CBX flip the room if needed.

Marketing Expectations:

  • Post on social media 2x per week, promoting your schedule and CB events.
  • Be well-versed on The Tap and stay tuned into the Denver Facebook group.

Administrative Expectations:

  • Check CycleBar email regularly and confirm sub emails.

Requirements:

  • Must be a CycleBar certified instructor.
  • Must be able to teach a variety of classes, including OG 12 song sequence and Alt A or B formats.
  • Must be able to create engaging playlists and make announcements pre and post class.
