Position Overview:
This opportunity is for a seasoned Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer, PE who will be responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical systems in advanced facilities.

About Us:
We are a leading firm specializing in MEP engineering, offering a tailored approach to quality engineering, testing, adjusting, balancing, and commissioning services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems for complex facilities.
- Conduct load calculations, static pressure calculations, pump head calculations, and energy analysis.
- Develop detailed mechanical specifications and create AutoCAD and 3D BIM models of systems.
- Prepare mechanical equipment schedules and perform field investigations as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure comprehensive mechanical system designs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit is preferred.
- Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED is a plus.
- Valid Texas Driver's License is mandatory.

Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree with a focus on HVAC-related studies.
- Over 5 years of experience in mechanical system design, particularly in healthcare, education, and technology sectors.
- Expertise in HVAC and plumbing system design.
- Familiarity with the latest AutoCAD-MEP and REVIT software.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical/plumbing trades, building codes, and documentation.
- Ability to perform plumbing, piping, and fire suppression hydraulic calculations independently.
- Certification as a Plumbing Designer is preferred.
