Civil Engineering Technician

Job Overview

APA Solar Racking is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will provide technical support for foundation testing and soil reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Support/supervise foundation testing field services
  • Create/develop testing methods, review quality and inspection process for foundation testing
  • Complete foundation testing maps, review, analysis, and reporting of results
  • Prepare calculation packages, technical reports and letters
  • Participates in conceptual foundation design meetings with other engineering staff to reflect product design intent.
Requirements
  • Geotechnical/Construction foundation experience preferred
  • BS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering preferred or Associates degree in engineering related field with equivalent experience
  • Project Management experience

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
