Dietary Assistant

About the Role
Tennessee State Veterans' Home, a leading nursing facility in Humboldt, Tennessee, seeks a skilled Dietary Aide to join their team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met with care and attention.

Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in quantities according to the menu, recipe, and number of persons to be served
- Set up dining rooms as instructed and prepare items such as salads and beverages
- Take resident orders and serve meals to residents in a timely manner
- Clean resident eating areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils according to proper procedures
- Consistently work cooperatively with residents, staff, physicians, consultants, and ancillary service providers

Requirements
- Prior experience in a dietary environment at a large establishment; health care experience preferred
- Previous knowledge and care of food service equipment is preferred but not required
