At CommonSail Investment Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas, facilities, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and plate food according to dietary guidelines for regular and special diets.
- Handle, transport, and plate food for residents, guests, and employees.
- Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
- Ensure that sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
- Communicate with supervisor of shortages or outages.
- Maintain all daily logs, postings, and documentations required for meal services.
- Stocks and cleans station for next shift.
- Follows proper food rotation policies.
- Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
- Reports any discrepancies in his/her area to executive chef.
Requirements:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
- Some food service work experience required.
- Great communication skills are required.
Working Conditions:
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
