Bilingual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Felton Institute is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality mental health services to clients in our San Francisco clinics and in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication assessments, and medication monitoring under the direction of a licensed psychiatrist.
- Perform crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and other direct mental health services, including case management.
- Assist with 5150 evaluations as needed and maintain client caseload and clinical records in accordance with mandated standards.
- Direct treatment planning and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Consult and provide ongoing education to non-medical staff in psychopharmacology and medical aspects of patient care.
- A minimum of 3 years of Psychiatric Nursing experience prescribing and treating clients living with a severe mental illness.
- Verifiable completion of training in an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license, furnishing number license from the State of California, and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated commitment to the welfare of individuals and families with mental/behavioral health issues.
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions.
