At BJC, we're seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse First Assistant Operating Room to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will work closely with surgeons to provide direct patient care and support during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Deliver intraoperative patient care as the first assistant to the surgeon(s) as a collaborative team member.
- Pre-operatively perform a focused nursing assessment in reference to planned procedure.
- Develop and manage an individual plan of care that directs the intervention(s) of the RNFA.
- Implement, manage, and coordinate the perioperative plan of care related to RNFA interventions.
- Evaluate patient progress towards attaining outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) certification.
