Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our on-site activities and ensure the successful execution of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and management of all Mistras activities on-site, developing and implementing management, planning, and cost control systems, and ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, oversight, and management of all Mistras activities on-site.
  • Develop and implement management, planning, and cost control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Provide daily reports to clients and Mistras Management on staffing, worksite locations, and project status.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with customers and provide direction and goals for the management team.
  • Ensure proper key performance indicators (KPIs) are utilized, maintained, and adjusted as needed to ensure the success of the organization.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of and execute the Mistras Project Management Procedure (99-PM-001).
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer contracts and implement requirements and manage the contract.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Union contracts and ensure compliance if applicable.
  • Liaison between Company, Client, and entire staff.
  • Maintain a Safety-conscious work environment.
  • Maintain adequate staffing and resources to ensure project completions.
  • Maintain compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures on the project.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by being accessible to all employees.
  • Effective communication with customers to ensure 100% customer satisfaction with overall project.
  • Maintain exceptional HSE record.
Requirements
  • Prior supervisory experience is required.
  • 4+ years of tank/vessel cleaning project management experience.
  • Strong customer relation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Tank and vessel cleaning/production experience is required.
  • Needs strong computer skills with the ability to compile KPIs and performance metrics as well as extract data from large spreadsheets and worklists.
  • Ability to effectively plan daily work scopes, one week and two week look-aheads, and forecast timelines and target dates for project completion estimates based on given work scopes.
  • Exceptional safety record.
  • Team building capabilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and trainable in "database" programs).
  • Strong knowledge of lock out tag out and process equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
