Our Rheumatology center is equipped with a team of skilled professionals, including Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, along with modern facilities that feature multiple exam rooms, an advanced Infusion Suite, and various diagnostic capabilities. We focus on a wide range of conditions, including autoimmune disorders and arthritis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical histories
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies
  • Diagnose and recommend treatment plans for autoimmune and arthritic conditions
  • Prescribe necessary medications and oversee IV Infusion treatments
  • Maintain precise medical records and manage appointment schedules
  • Communicate health information and treatment plans to patients
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and management strategies
  • Monitor overall patient health and wellness
  • Encourage healthy lifestyle practices
  • Engage in continuous professional development and research activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising physician

Qualifications:

  • New graduates and experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in relevant fields are encouraged to apply
  • Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are preferred
  • Experience with hospital rounding and call rotation is beneficial
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and clinical expertise
  • Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and DEA registration in Virginia
