Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Salem Health. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments to ensure they are safe for use.
  • Use sharp attention to detail and organizational skills to manage instrument inventory and ensure timely delivery to the surgical team.
  • Collaborate with the sterile processing team to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in sterile processing practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Certification in Central Service Technology (CRCST) or Sterilization Processing and Decontamination Technology (CSPDT) required at hire and maintained.
  • Previous sterile processing experience desirable.
