Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our West Chester, PA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care and participating in policy and procedure implementations related to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via the telephone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patient health care needs based on signs and symptoms, utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines.
  • Obtain input and direction from providers as needed to determine the best clinical course of action and recommendations for patient health care.
  • Accurately document symptoms, nursing assessment, advice provided, and patient/caller response.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness, as well as improve health care outcomes for patients/callers and their access to appropriate health care.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse, with a degree from an accredited nursing program and current New Jersey certification as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR certification and a minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW is beneficial.
