Composites Auditor

This is an excellent opportunity for recent retirees or consultants with experience in compression molding, core and/or liquid resin processing, metal bond, adhesive bonding, basic physical, mechanical and chemical properties of composite materials.

• Conduct audits of composite materials and manufacturing processes
• Evaluate the quality and integrity of composite materials and products
• Assess the effectiveness of quality control and assurance processes
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and quality enhancements

• One to three years of auditing experience
• Three years of direct experience in the aerospace industry in the following aspects of composites: basic physical, mechanical and chemical properties of composite materials; basic raw material testing methods; storage, handling and environmental controls; facilities experience (autoclaves, laser projectors, ply cutters); processing of various composite materials; bagging procedures and tooling requirements
• Three years of experience in at least two of the following major composite fabrication processes: Prepreg/Adhesive Bonding, Metal Bonding and Core Processing
• Quality Assurance Experience
