Job Summary:
VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in a locums capacity. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including total knee and shoulder replacements, shoulder arthroscopy, and knee arthroscopy
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed to ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Provide education to patients and their families on anesthesia care and post-operative recovery
Requirements:
- Current CRNA licensure and certification
- Experience in providing anesthesia care in a hospital or surgical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
This is a locums opportunity, and the schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm, with the possibility of working 5-8 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts on a short-term basis.
