BIM Designer Position

Western Partitions is seeking a skilled BIM Designer to join our team. As a BIM Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor and other software tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Create models and drawings of manufacturing components using Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop assemblies of components with Inventor.
- Collaborate with the BIM Manager to ensure accurate and complete models.
- Work with the construction and engineering team to translate their designs into models.
- Ensure construction document accuracy based on other trades or designs.
- Collaborate with BIM service providers and subcontractors.
- Produce various documents or drawings for various requirements to support the project and field team.
- High school diploma and/or GED.
- Completion of a degree or certificate in CAD technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience actively using Autodesk Inventor for a design or construction firm.
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Ability to use independent judgement, problem-solving ability, self-starting, and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors.
- Knowledge of BIM/VDC Technology & Other Software.
- Familiarity with cold formed steel construction.
