We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Room Attendant to join our hospitality team at Red Lion Port Angeles. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining a high level of property standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare guest rooms to our high standards, including making beds, dusting furniture, replenishing supplies, and cleaning bathrooms
- Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping patios and washing windows
- Safeguard hotel and guest property, including handling lost and found items properly
- Report necessary repairs to management and maintain clean and well-stocked room attendant carts
- Inspect work areas for potential hazards and respond promptly to guest and management requests
- Greet all guests warmly and stay informed about hotel activities
- Represent the hotel positively at all times and maintain a professional appearance
- Housekeeping and customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and able to work any day and hour of the week
- Strong teamwork skills, effective communication abilities, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized work environment
