POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales atmosphere, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store activities. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation

Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in recommending merchandise selections or helps locate products based on customer preferences.

Stays informed about current promotions and sales; upholds pricing and visual presentation standards.

Maintains high standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Engages in visual merchandising tasks, including monthly store setups and area maintenance.

Customer Engagement

Embodies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Addresses customer concerns promptly and effectively.

Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about policies related to payments, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, security practices, and other operational procedures.

Encourages purchasing decisions at the register and meets add-on sales goals, including gift card promotions.

Enlists clients in the rewards program.

Develops and nurtures a strong customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.

Maintains awareness of current product fit and style offerings both in-store and online.

Ensures consistent communication with clients through the use of a customer book.

Operational Excellence

Assists in replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked and appealing.

Supports locate fulfillment efforts.

Contributes to visual merchandising directives, including floor setups, window displays, visual presentations, and signage placement as directed.

Helps maintain boutique cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration and Development

Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Seeks opportunities for personal development and actively requests feedback.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred experience in retail or sales.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication skills.

Excellent customer service abilities.

Able to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company.

Strong organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Able to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management.

Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing throughout an 8-hour shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of an 8-hour shift).

Frequent climbing (34%-66% of an 8-hour shift).
