Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team at ATG Recruiting. As an OTR CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, utilizing our fleet of well-maintained 53' dry vans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 53' dry van trailer, hauling a variety of cargo, including dry goods and refrigerated products.
  • Operate a 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia, equipped with an automatic transmission and a range of amenities, including a refrigerator, APU, and 1500-watt inverter.
  • Ensure timely delivery of cargo, adhering to strict schedules and deadlines.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or concerns to the maintenance team.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rates, ranging from $.54 to $.60 cpm, depending on experience.
  • Detention pay of $12.50 per hour after the second hour.
  • Layover pay/breakdown pay of $100 per day, excluding Sundays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days.
  • 401(k) plan with a 4% match after six months.
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL license.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • At least three months of experience in the last three years.
Driver Details:
  • Average haul miles: 2500+ per week.
  • Home time: every other weekend for 48 hours.
  • Run details: mainly east of I-35, but can run all 48 states.
Tractor Trailer Description:
  • 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia.
  • Automatic transmission.
  • Refrigerator, APU, and 1500-watt inverter.
  • Well-maintained 53' dry van.
