About the Job:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Counselling: Providing patients with accurate information about medications, including potential side effects, interactions, and contraindications.
  2. Prescription Dispensing: Performing prescription dispensing activities, ensuring compliance with state and federal controlled substance laws.
  3. Community Engagement: Participating in events that reflect the unique communities we serve, promoting awareness of healthcare services offered through Walgreens.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities demonstrating a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.

Estimated Salary Range:
$52.00 per hour - $80.00 per hour.
