Aviation Fabrication Engineer

Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:

StandardAero is seeking an accomplished Aviation Fabrication Engineer to lead our sheet metal fabrication team. As a skilled engineer, you will oversee the development of repair schemes, design and fabricate sheet metal parts, and ensure that all work meets industry standards.

You will utilize your knowledge of precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and protractors, to accomplish repairs or modifications. Additionally, you will inspect aircraft according to OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals and evaluate removed components for serviceability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License preferred
  • Certification in aerospace engineering or related field desired
