Job Title: CRNA Nemours Clinic Jacksonville

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at our clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate CRNA to provide high-quality anesthesia care to our pediatric patients. As a member of our anesthesia care team, you will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists to administer anesthesia and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients to determine the best course of anesthesia care.
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' physical status throughout the perioperative experience.
  • Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up evaluation as needed.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists to monitor and evaluate quality of patient care and participate in department quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
  • Current Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
  • Current Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
