Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
  • Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to address potential risks and ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, demonstrating integrity and compassion in all interactions.
  • Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with healthcare trends and practices.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and care transitions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing medical technology and equipment relevant to patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in telemetry or critical care nursing is advantageous.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Work Environment:
The role is performed in a well-ventilated, indoor healthcare setting, with potential exposure to patients with infectious diseases. Adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures is essential.
