We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Select Medical. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical support to our hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to the hospital pharmacy function, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
- Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy, ensuring that medications are available when needed.
- Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
- Current State licensure required.
- BLS if required by State.
- Maintain a current license in the state of practice.
Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency is preferred.
