About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Deli Manager to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our deli department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Deli Manager in overseeing daily operations, including ordering, inventory control, and product quality.
  • Lead and motivate a team of deli associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, as well as maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a deli or food service environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive experience for our customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Safety certification and a strong understanding of food safety protocols.
