About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Buhler Group. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct incoming inspections for manufacturing and verify critical dimensions and features.
  • Document findings meticulously and store information properly.
  • Tackle 8D investigations for non-conforming material reports from the manufacturing process and customer complaints.
  • Ensure all documentation within the quality management system, CAQ, is accurate.
  • Review in-process quality data and document correctly.
  • Monitor first-pass yield and throughput numbers and initiate corrective actions when metrics fall short.
  • Support annual gauge calibration and use interval tools to maintain cost-effective calibration schedules.
  • Support incident reports, identify trends, and implement proactive corrective actions.
  • Perform investigations for near misses and injuries, support safety audits, manage data entry, and update safety datasheets.
Requirements
  • High school diploma with training in quality tools (5-Why, cause and effect, Pareto, histogram) and problem-solving tools (8D, PDCA, DMAIC), with knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
  • 3+ years of quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong print reading abilities, with knowledge of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
  • Understanding of metrology tools and applications (test indicators, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, and pins).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Basic understanding of local and federal safety requirements and regulations.
