Campus Overview:
Soin Medical Center has been serving residents of Greene, Western Clark, Eastern Montgomery, and Miami counties since 2012. Conveniently located off I-675 in Beavercreek, it provides a variety of healthcare services and is home to 4 accredited Centers of Excellence, including hernia and robotic surgery. Soin Medical Center has received numerous awards, including an A from the Leapfrog Group and 4 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.

Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist II is responsible for performing a wide variety of radiographic examinations, using both fixed and portable equipment, including c-arms/surgery. This position requires additional training in imaging in the surgical suite related to specific surgeries, sterile field protection, promoting radiation safety to the patient and surgical staff, etc.
Requirements:This position requires individuals who can work under limited supervision, exercise independent judgment and initiative, and communicate effectively in the medical environment. They must be able to work well with patients, fellow workers, physicians, and others, serving all segments of patient populations, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. There is regular exposure to ionizing radiation, and work hours can be irregular with the need to accept overtime or on call. The work is physically demanding, requiring long periods of standing, bending, and/or lifting.
Preferred Qualifications:Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, valid Ohio License as a Radiographer, and Current Basic Life Support certification are required. The applicant must be able to use a wide range of radiographic equipment, including mobile units and portable C-arm machines, and have the willingness to learn new procedures and operate new equipment. They must also be able to deal tactfully and professionally with physicians, patients, and coworkers, and tolerate much standing, bending, and lifting. On call and holiday rotation, surgery, and XR position are also required.
