Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up inserting equipment at the beginning of each job according to specifications provided on the job ticket.
  • Quality Control: Recognize when the output is not meeting job specification and take corrective action.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and co-workers to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Documentation: Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Sorting and Organization: Accurately sort all cards and mail to ensure proper order.
  • Quality Assurance: Notify Production Supervisor of any quality issues, spoilage or reprints that are required.
  • Compliance: Follow all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job, position and department accurately.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ability to maintain published equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Training and Development: Ability and willingness to cross-train on various inserting equipment.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies & department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years' experience in production print environment preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have basic computer skills (data entry, etc.).
  • Physical Demands: Frequent bending and stooping. Stand for long periods of time. Able to lift up to 50lbs. Reliable transportation to and from work. Use standard office equipment. Must be able to maintain good attendance. Must be willing to work overtime as needed, significant overtime is required during busy periods.
