Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview and evaluate loan applicants to determine their creditworthiness
  • Analyze loan applications and make recommendations for approval or denial
  • Process loan applications and disburse loan proceeds

  • Stay up-to-date with credit union policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and lending procedures
  • Minimum one year of lending experience preferred
  • Minimum one year of cash handling/teller experience preferred
