Job Description

The Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service under direct supervision. They assist customers, set up, maintain, and clean the seafood display cases.

Cleaning, filling, and rotating the seafood displays are essential tasks. The ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods is necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Possess basic PC/Outlook skills and a retail management certificate is desired.
