About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team at Abound Health. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms
  • Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities
  • Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives
  • Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
  • Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
  • Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
  • Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client's home
  • Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
  • Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs
  • CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company

$1000 Signing Bonus Details:
$500 paid out after working 30 days with an average of 20 hours per week
$500 paid out after working 6 months with an average of 20 hours per week
Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health or A Small Miracle, LLC in the past 18 months
Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
RAPs are not eligible for the Referral Bonus
