Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to postpartum patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to the physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Support breastfeeding and provide education on newborn care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in postpartum care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in postpartum care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
