Job Summary

The Material Handler is a key member of our warehouse operations team, responsible for processing and moving finished products and materials throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Perform transactions in the inventory system, moving product around within the warehouse to ensure accurate tracking and storage.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Understand and implement required procedures, including ISO standard documents, to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Communication: Report any safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager and maintain effective communication with team members.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, material handling, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, and knowledge of material moving equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Environment: Regularly perform repetitive tasks, work primarily standing, and be exposed to a typical manufacturing environment.
  • Equipment and Tools: Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts, and demonstrate proficient fine motor skills.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Wear required PPE where necessary and comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements.
