WE ARE SEEKING A RELIABLE PRN NURSE TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR CARE TEAM
The role involves delivering nursing care within the established scope of practice to ensure that patient needs are effectively addressed in alignment with professional standards, physician directives, and relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibits knowledge and proper application of the Infection Control Manual.
- Actively engages in and supports the Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Employs the Quality Life Manual for the identification, placement, and oversight of patients in suitable programs.
- Communicates patient updates to relevant departments, including room changes, leaves of absence, new admissions, and discharges.
- Facilitates education for patients and their families.
- Demonstrates proficiency in administering medications promptly and in accordance with facility policies.
- Ensures timely administration of treatments as per facility guidelines.
- Exhibits capability to receive, interpret, and execute physician orders, as permitted by the Nurse Practice Act.
- Accompanies physicians on rounds when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as LPN/LVN or RN in California.
- Preferred one year of prior nursing experience.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
