A distinguished Research University is in search of a Senior Post Award Analyst to enhance their Office of Clinical Trials. This role is pivotal in ensuring that clinical research studies align with compliance standards and financial integrity.
Your responsibilities will encompass the evaluation and scrutiny of clinical research projects to guarantee adherence to Medicare's clinical trial guidelines and institutional billing protocols.
Key functions include managing financial reports for clinical trials, ensuring compliance in clinical research billing, and actively participating in the reconciliation and closure phases of clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Deliver expert oversight of financial components related to clinical trials post-award.
- Collaborate with the Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) and research accounting teams to facilitate precise and timely financial reporting.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports for clinical trials, emphasizing budget compliance and expenditure tracking.
Compliance and Oversight:
- Supervise and guarantee adherence to policies governing clinical research billing.
- Conduct audits and evaluations to uphold compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Reconciliation & Close-out Processes:
- Oversee the item-level reconciliation process within the new system for clinical trials.
- Facilitate the closeout procedures of clinical trials, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.
Prospective Reimbursement Activities:
- Validate and manage prospective reimbursement assessments for all clinical research initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and reporting, particularly in clinical research or healthcare.
