As a member of the patient care team at LifeBridge Health, the Registered Nurse I provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
Unit SummaryOur 37-bed adult med-surg acute care unit specializes in the management of both chronic ventilator patients and peritoneal dialysis patients. We are the only unit that does peritoneal dialysis in the hospital, and we are the only acute care unit managing vents. In addition, we also manage patients with respiratory issues, infectious diseases.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and report patient progress and any changes in condition
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
- Less than 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse, registered to practice in Maryland
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
$35.00 / Hourly - $54.82 / Hourly
