Athena Health Care Systems is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our care team at Heatherwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Newport. As an essential member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through high-quality occupational therapy services.
Your key responsibilities will include assessing patients/residents, creating customized care plans, and implementing direct treatment strategies to promote their functional independence. You will also participate in the clinical team process, collaborate with caregivers, and engage in education and training initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong educational background in occupational therapy, including a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree. Moreover, you must demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with staff, patients, and families.
