Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant eager to embrace a challenging leadership role within a rapidly expanding SaaS organization. This position is pivotal to the daily operations of MTech Systems' finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end closing processes, prepare journal entries, reconcile inter-company transactions, review account balances, and report within the parent company's consolidation systems.
  • Oversee and support the closing activities conducted by team members.
  • Offer accounting guidance for daily activities performed by the team.
  • Develop internal control documentation and respond to quarterly internal control questionnaires mandated by the parent company.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Process accounts payable transactions and manage entries on the company's credit card.
  • Enhance accounting and operational processes.
  • Take ownership of the complete closing process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification or in progress is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS, including comprehensive knowledge of financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Possess a numbers-oriented skill set with strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience in financial auditing is advantageous.
