About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our facilities maintenance team at Cascades at Port Arthur. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of various equipment and systems.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements of kitchen, HVAC, laundry, grounds maintenance, plumbing, painting, electrical, and flooring equipment.
  • Inspection and Safety: Inspect equipment and systems for proper function and safety, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Logistics and Warehouse Management: Handle incoming and outgoing freight, and lift/move heavy furniture and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Six months prior commercial/industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Skill Set: Strong reasoning skills, good judgment, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language, and proficiency in all competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
