Detention Counselor II

We are seeking a dedicated professional to work in our Montgomery County Pennsylvania Secure Detention Division. This position involves providing direct care and supervision to minors aged 10-18, ensuring their safety and well-being in a secure environment.

• Process admissions, document incidents, and maintain accurate records;
• Safeguard residents' physical and mental well-being through regular evaluations and interventions;
• Develop and lead engaging activities promoting socialization, education, and life skills;
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and ensure smooth operations;
• Address potential conflicts or crises promptly and effectively;
• Attend to residents' basic needs and promote a positive living environment;
• Review and improve internal processes to optimize service delivery;
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional growth;
