Blackbird Health is seeking a skilled Contract Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evidence-based speech and language evaluations. Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Speech-Language Pathologist will efficiently and accurately determine and create appropriate treatment plans for new and existing Blackbird patients. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid Virginia state license, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience in telehealth and strong communication skills are also required. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work in a remote environment with the option to work onsite at our Vienna location one day a week. Key qualifications include a minimum of two years of experience providing speech and language services to clients, proficiency in electronic medical record systems, and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest research and clinical practices. The target range for this position is $40-$50/hour. Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language evaluations and create treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers to determine patient needs
  • Work in a remote environment with the option to work onsite one day a week
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Virginia state license
  • CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
