Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. In this role, you will travel to various locations to perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, collect and verify order documentation and patient information, and operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
- Determine exposure factors based on height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required, and demonstrate safe work practices, including radiation safety and ALARA principles, infection control, and personal protective equipment use.
- Process images, review them for diagnostic quality, transmit them, and maintain records, visit logs, and reports according to standard protocols.
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R), state x-ray license (if applicable), and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Have the ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment, and work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Salary EstimateThe estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
