Job Summary

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team as a PCU Telemetry Float Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements
  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in PCU or telemetry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Professional certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Experience working in a Magnet-designated hospital or a facility with a strong focus on nursing excellence.
