Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our Instrumentation and Controls Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing process control systems for nuclear power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement process control systems for nuclear power plants, including digital systems, PLCs, DCS, and touchscreen displays.
  • Develop functional requirement and procurement specifications for instrumentation and control systems.
  • Conduct site walkdowns and attend client meetings to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
  • Review and approve design drawings created by others.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems, with a preference for experience in nuclear power plant control systems.
  • Experience with controls system design, including low and medium voltage distribution systems and controls for equipment such as turbines, pumps, and feedwater control.
  • Experience with power plant instrumentation and controls systems design for BWR or PWR reactors.
  • Technical knowledge of available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems.
