Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the State of Delaware Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Triage patients and use clinical judgment to implement nursing interventions in a timely manner.
  • Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the State of Delaware Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations.
  • Act as a preceptor and mentor for other licensed and unlicensed clinical team members, timely completion of assigned education and annual competencies.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an identified plan of care, prioritize and coordinate care delivery, and provide initial education to patients, families, and/or caregivers.
  • Administer medications according to policy, collect, analyze, and document the assessment data to determine the actual or potential nursing diagnoses, problems, and identifies expected outcomes.
  • Recognize unit needs and be a liaison between the clinical staff and leadership to assist in development and maintenance of office-specific policies, procedures, and/or protocols that will promote safety and encourage efficient workflows.
  • Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
  • Utilize appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible.
  • Advocate for clients.
  • Actively assist others and accept additional duties or assignments, work in other BMG office locations and/or other shift times when needed.
  • Model the Beebe Healthcare mission, vision, and values.
  • Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
Qualifications
  • RN Diploma
  • RN Degree Program
  • RN - Registered Nurse license from the state of Delaware or Compact State
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)

Starting at: USD $26.12/Hr.
