Director of Manufacturing Operations

Are you a seasoned production professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead our production team at Turion Space.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production operations, including strategic planning, process optimization, and quality control. As a senior member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement production strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality and productivity.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that production output meets or exceeds quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control processes and address any quality issues promptly.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in production management, with a proven track record in leading large-scale manufacturing or production operations.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams at all levels.
- Operational Expertise: In-depth knowledge of production processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Experience in managing production budgets and controlling costs.
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
