About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our parking garages and other job sites.

Job Responsibilities
  • Loading and affixing pressure washing equipment to trucks
  • Filling tanks with water and chemicals and allowing them to heat;
  • Laying out hoses to begin projects;
  • Affixing spray guns to the hoses;
  • Washing floors, walls, stairs, pavement, surface lots, and parking garages, ensuring that hoses do not become tangled and efficiently completing jobs;
  • Properly disposing of/remove waste water and barricading necessary drains, ensuring that all work performed is EPA compliant;
  • Maintaining all equipment and providing quality service at every job;
  • Performing quality maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned projects, vehicles, and equipment;
  • Employees must wear appropriate safety equipment, including boots and gloves.
Qualifications and Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • Graduation from high school, GED or equivalent;
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos;
  • The ability to write simple correspondence;
  • The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company;
  • A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record;
  • The availability to work special shifts, if required by the location's hiring needs.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of $23.00 per hour, as well as various benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, long/short-term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
