Position Overview:

This role involves performing highly specialized functions within the Financial Aid Department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute advanced specialist tasks.
2. Collaborate with the System Analyst and Solution Support team to assess automation requirements for the Financial Aid office.
3. Conduct thorough system investigations, including troubleshooting, data cleansing, and repairing database components related to various software systems.
4. Address information inquiries and maintain complex data sets.
5. Develop and implement processes for data maintenance, testing, and automation as necessary.
6. Research and prepare information for dissemination.
7. Draft, review, and distribute documents and correspondence.
8. Participate in committees as required.
9. Design and maintain SQL queries to automate Financial Aid programs.
10. Interpret and communicate Federal and State regulations for software and process upgrades.
11. Generate reports for administrative decision-making and compliance with federal requirements.
12. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requires a comprehensive understanding of university policies and infrastructure. Must possess a strong knowledge of office systems and demonstrate the ability to resolve operational challenges while suggesting process enhancements.

Work Arrangement:

Up to 40% of this position may be performed remotely during off-peak periods, as determined by the supervisor.
