As a Ballet Instructor with the YMCA of Southwest Florida, you will have the opportunity to teach and inspire children in the art of ballet. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about dance and have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging ballet lessons to children of varying skill levels.
• Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive and comprehensive dance program.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in dance education and incorporate new ideas and techniques into your teaching.

Requirements:

• Prior experience teaching ballet to children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Certifications and Training:

• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• YMCA Blood Borne Pathogens Training.
• YMCA Child Sexual Abuse Prevention class.
• Staff Safety Requirements/Cleaning Protocols.
